Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
  • Lead safety culture and compliance by proactively identifying risks, driving corrective actions, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to all HSE standards and training requirements.
  • Own plant quality performance by anticipating issues, implementing containment and corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement and mistake-proofing initiatives.
  • Drive operational delivery results by leading cross-functional problem-solving, ensuring production targets are met, and escalating major disruptions (downtime, quality, delivery) as needed.
  • Lead Tier 3 operations and communication by aligning department leaders, ensuring shift-to-shift continuity, and clearly communicating SQDCM performance and priorities.
  • Manage cost performance through oversight of labor utilization, overtime, scrap reduction, and enforcing accountability for productivity and time management.
  • Develop and coach frontline leadership by mentoring supervisors on performance management, employee relations, and consistent application of policies and feedback practices.
  • Foster engagement and accountability by ensuring effective Tier 1 communication, reinforcing standards, and supporting a disciplined, high-performance team environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or a combination of an equivalent Technical Degree/Certification and experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Class-A automotive manufacturing environment required.
  • 3+ years of relevant prior supervisory/management experience of assembly Class-A automotive experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills is required.
  • Must have an understanding of production, tooling equipment, automation, and technology as it relates to the automotive industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
