The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for developing commissioning and final tests procedures and automate them to meet system requirements.
This position reports to the Internal Customer Support Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Engineering department located in Woodlands, Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop commissioning and final tests procedures to meet system requirements.
- Develop the automation of parameter optimization (optsets) for commissioning and final tests procedures using Tuning Tools software.
- Revise, update and improve parameter optimization (optsets) for commissioning and final tests procedures annually to reduce cycle time.
- Expand PCBA troubleshooting skills to investigate the root cause of defective instruments/PCBAs/components.
- Perform First Article Evaluation of Electrical/Electronic parts and software.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience working in ISO 13485 manufacturing environment.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Hands on experience in using measuring equipment like digital multimeter, oscilloscope, function generators, etc. during his/her university studies.
- Understand PCBA manufacturing process, able to read the PCBA schematic diagram and perform troubleshooting.
- Proficient knowledge in analog and digital electronics is desired.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel to North America/China for 1-2 months per year during project.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10kg daily.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- IPC-610 on Printed Circuit Board Assemble manufacturing process
- Operation and Application on mass spectrometer instruments
