GN Global Manufacturing – Manufacturing Test Engineer

The Manufacturing Test team is a global team within Global Operations, which works with various disciplines across GN organizations and Development Centers (DC). You will join the team in Xiamen (China) which currently consist of 7 engineers in China and 6 in Denmark. You will step into an international environment with colleagues from multiple nationalities. Together, we support the GN vision of being the leader in intelligent audio, video and hearing solutions – bringing people closer.   

What will you be doing? 

The tasks are focused around, developing product specific production test solutions within NPI (New Product Introduction) project teams as well as continuously taking part in development of our common manufacturing test platform and practice.

Your responsibilities in NPI projects will range from developing production test concepts, outlining test fixtures, to independently plan and structure future test releases, for our manufacturing sites across different manufacturing models (In-house, EMS, JDM, etc.) and hereby having a major impact on the production test solutions for all our products within GN Group.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop cost-efficient production test solutions and platforms aligned with future technology and process requirements with a focus on both software and hardware
• Specify test requirements in close collaborations with our product design team, production sites and external suppliers
• Independently manage and coordinate the project activities you are responsible for
• On-site run-in and support for new project NPIs with both domestic and international travel
• Continuously improving and updating existing test platforms, solutions, processes
• Managing external partners and test equipment vendors

You are a self-starter with a background in engineering

These competences will be a benefit in the role:

• Understanding of electronics, acoustics
• Experience within mass production testing of audio and / or video screens and Cameras
• Programming experience: C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, Power Shell, Python
