About this RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing & Quality Specialist to support and oversee manufacturing operations across the APAC region. This individual will serve as the regional technical expert for process engineering and quality control, with a critical focus on maintaining high manufacturing standards and ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and delivery expectations. A bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline is required, with 2–5 years’ experience in chemical process or quality engineering. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable. Candidate must be legally allowed to work in Singapore/Malaysia.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee manufacturing and production at in-region contract manufacturing sites.
  • Conduct on-site process reviews and quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead root cause investigations for quality issues, define and implement CAPA.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance quality, reduce variability, and increase cost efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process monitoring plans using statistical tools (e.g., SPC, Cp/Cpk analysis) to drive continuous improvement and reduce process variability.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, quality documentation, and manufacturing protocols in alignment with actnano’s global QMS.
  • Support internal and external audits; familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management frameworks is preferred.
  • Extensive travel (~60%) across APAC (China, Malaysia) and to the United States.
This position is based in Singapore/Malaysia.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years' experience in chemical process or quality engineering
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management frameworks
  • Fluency in English
