The Role:
The Entegris Bedford, MA site is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Quality Manager to support our eChucks and Specialty Coatings business. This leader will manage a team of quality engineers and technicians responsible for maintaining robust quality systems, driving product quality improvements, ensuring customer quality requirements are met, and supporting operational excellence across manufacturing.
The Manufacturing Quality Manager will own and drive all aspects of the site's quality management system, including Management of Change (MOC) governance, nonconformance management, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), manufacturing quality documentation, control plan development and maturity, metrology systems, Gauge R&R (GR&R),internal and external audits, product failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D and customers to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and sustain high levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:
Quality Management Systems & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including quality procedures, inspection standards, control plans, FMEAs, and key performance metrics to drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the chair of the Change Control Board, ensuring all product, process, and system changes are rigorously assessed, documented, and implemented without negatively impacting product quality or customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain audit programs, including internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality regulations.
Investigations, Failure Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and oversee complex quality investigations, customer complaints, and 8D corrective actions, utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes, implement effective CAPAs, and prevent recurrence.
- Own the end-to-end Failure Analysis (FA) process including customer request intake, tracking, technical evaluation, and closure, ensuring timely disposition and clear communication with customers. Drive periodic review of FA paretos to identify recurring defects and root causes, and establish a structured forum to share major FA and 8D findings with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing leadership to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence.
Metrology & Measurement Systems
- Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of measurement systems by overseeing metrology programs, GR&R studies, calibration compliance, and long-term stability reviews of critical inspection equipment.
New Product Introduction & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Provide quality leadership for new product introductions (NPI), qualification activities, process transfers, and validation programs, ensuring compliance with customer expectations and quality standards.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Management to identify quality risks, implement process controls, improve yields, and enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary quality representative to customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams, communicating quality performance, investigation outcomes, risk assessments, and strategic improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Engineering team by prioritizing resources, managing workload, establishing clear objectives, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence, establishing quality priorities and aligning quality initiatives with business objectives, customer expectations, and Entegris PACE values.
What We Seek:
- BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, guide, and mentor engineers and operations personnel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including statistical analysis and structured troubleshooting methods.
- Strong background in SPC and Quality.
- Experience with semiconductor part and/or component manufacturing.
- Experience with launching and ramping new, complex products through manufacturing cycles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to executives, peers, and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High Vacuum coating, machining and Ion Implant experience is plus
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in the semiconductor or precision materials industry.
- Proven experience leading complex investigations, implementing process control systems, and improving stability and capability.
- Expertise with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and other structured problem-solving tools.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring engineering talent.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom requirements.
- A continuous improvement mindset and strong ownership of results.

- Compensation: $130,000- $160,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
