What You'll Do:

Position Summary:  He/she will  manage and oversee the job/project/order process for key strategic projects and projects that span across the environmental and/or industrial industries by reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, recording from the initiation process through to post-delivery process.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

Project Manager Duties: Perform as a capable project manager for key strategic projects and projects that span multiple value streams; Complete projects assigned using the Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure functions. 

Reports: Provide status reporting of project management activities against the program plan or schedule; Keep the Director of Operations informed of task accomplishment, issues, and status.


Ongoing personal development: Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending professional workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Maintains any project management related certifications by attending workshops etc.

Requirements

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (Four-year college or technical school) Required, Engineering or Manufacturing Field of Study and or equivalent work experience. 

Experience:

0 to 3 years Project Management and/or project plan development, status/communications plans and/or risk management experience.

Must be able to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and stay current on all projects. 

Computer:

Intermediate Computer Knowledge: Able to create, use, navigate and perform reports as needed as well as an Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

Job Specific Software:

Basic ability to create, use and retrieve project related information from ERP systems, scheduling software, etc. 

Certifications & Project planner/management studies or workshop of 16+ hours required.

Licenses/certifications:

PMP certification preferred .

 Other:

Must have motivational skills and a strong sense of urgency to meet Customer commitments in a timely and “above expectations” manner. 

Hands-on experience utilizing lean manufacturing principles for continuous process improvements which drive productivity and profitability. 

Knows the fundamental components of a financial statement and it's meaning; Understands and can create a functioning budget and meet the budgetary terms. 

Once trained will be able to identify Aerzen products and understands their use for the job function.

Must have the ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing field or equivalent work experience
  • 0 to 3 years project management or project planning experience
  • Certifications or project management workshop/studies of 16+ hours
  • PMP certification
