- Operate basic pressing machinery and drying equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Issue materials to production lines accurately and efficiently to support operational needs.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including tracking, counting, and organizing materials.
- Learn and follow company packaging and inventory procedures.
- Complete all required production and quality control documentation at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Assemble components according to written instructions and specifications.
- Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or process concerns to the shift supervisor promptly.
- Follow all instructions and standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
- Must be available for overtime work as required to meet production demands.
- Learn cross-training in various explosive manufacturing disciplines to support operational flexibility.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety and operational procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different production areas.
- The employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to machinery and production materials.
- Requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including handling of specialized materials.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- May require standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
