The Manufacturing Intern supports the Purchasing and Receiving functions in a manufacturing environment while gaining practical exposure to engineering and plant operations. This role is ideal for an engineering student interested in supply chain, materials management, and real-world manufacturing processes, with opportunities to assist Engineering as needed.
What You’ll Gain
• Hands on experience in purchasing and materials management
• Exposure to engineering support in a production setting
• Cross functional experience working with Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations

• Assist Purchasing with inventory monitoring, replenishment support, and purchase order activities
• Support Receiving by documenting receipts and distributing materials to internal customers
• Help maintain organized storeroom and receiving areas
• Participate in inventory activities such as cycle counts and material reviews
• Provide general purchasing and administrative support as needed
• Assist Engineering with projects, data collection, or shop‑floor support as workload allows

• Is in college, working towards earning an accredited degree
• Interest in purchasing, supply chain, and manufacturing operations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in both office and production environments
• Comfortable working with basic computer systems and documentation
• Comfortable taking and making phone calls with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
