Job Duties and Responsibilities
EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Intern . This position will be located at our office in Germantown, MD.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support SMT Process Engineers with instructions preparation
• Support SMT Process Engineers with evaluating builds and help prepare validation reports
• Optimize the production processes
• Perform process capabilities studies for various manufacturing processes; set up or expand method to track/trend
• Assist with various related engineering functions, e.g., design, costs reduction, and quality control
• Help resolve quality issues within Manufacturing Operations using problem solving techniques

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• GPA 3.3 or above
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026

Skills and Qualifications:

• Has strong functional use of Microsoft Office, Minitab and AutoCad
• Highly organized with critical attention to detail
• Fast apprehension, resilience & ability to work independently
• Team player with good and clear communication skills
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $51,000.00/Year - $73,000.00/Year
