What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Develop and optimize sheet metal, machining, and industrial engineering processes.
- Perform time studies, layout optimization, productivity improvement, and ergonomic assessments.
- Create PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Process Flow, and documentation.
- Prepare and release Manufacturing Drawings, BOM, Routing, and Process Sheets in SAP.
- Provide technical support for Laser Cutting, Punching, Bending, Welding, Surface Treatment, Powder Coating, Machining & Assembly.
- Prepare feasibility report for the BTP and BTS projects. and analyze investments for the projects.
- Process & Fixture Design along with Tool Design and Development for Sheet metal forming and Aluminum machining.
- Project Completion & Time Management: Plan and complete product development activities as per APQP guidelines. Coordinate with multi-functional teams and ensure timely delivery.
- Drive Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Poka‑Yoke, and Line Balancing activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, QMS and AS9100 guidelines.
- Follow all EHS guidelines; ensure safety of equipment and process environments.
- Promote 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
You have:
- Academic background in BE Mechanical
- Previous experience in or with 3 – 5 years Mfg. Engg and Industrial Engg exposure in sheet metal manufacturing and Aluminum machining experience.
- Enclosure or Panel builder exposure
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining fundamentals, and industrial engineering principles.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP (Material Master, BOM, Routing).
- SolidWorks, AutoCAD, basic 3D tools.
- Ability to read CAD drawings & GD&T.
- Understanding of Lean, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process capability studies.

Skills Required
