As our Hygiene Manager, you'll be a key player in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment during the night hours. You'll lead the hygiene team with a friendly and proactive approach, ensuring that all hygiene standards are met and exceeded. If you're passionate about food safety and enjoy working in a close-knit team, this role is perfect for you!

What you'll be doing:
  • Overseeing all hygiene operations during the nightshift, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Leading and supporting the night hygiene team with a positive and encouraging leadership style.
  • Conducting regular hygiene audits and inspections to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborating with production and quality teams to promptly address any issues.
  • Keeping up to date with best practices and helping to implement improvements.
  • Reporting back on hygiene performance and sharing insights with senior management.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of food safety legislation and hygiene protocols.
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Availability to work permanent night shifts- 6PM-6AM- 4 on 4 off rotational.
  • 5+ years of experience in hygiene management within a food manufacturing environment, ideally during night shifts.
  • Experience managing large teams with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in food hygiene or related fields are beneficial but not essential.

Skills Required

  • Extensive experience in hygiene management within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in food hygiene, quality management, or related fields
