Major Function

As Manufacturing HR Business Partner, you will support our manufacturing organization by aligning HR priorities with business objectives. Working closely with site leadership, managers, HR Centres of Excellence, and People Operations, you will contribute to workforce planning, organizational development, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and compliance.

Based on-site in Nagykanizsa, you will serve as a trusted partner to both leaders and employees, combining strategic HR support with hands-on operational HR activities to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing leadership to align people strategies with business priorities and operational goals.
  • Lead and support strategic HR initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, employee engagement, and talent development.
  • Coach and advise managers on leadership practices, employee retention, team effectiveness, and organizational change.
  • Support local implementation of global HR programs in collaboration with HR Centres of Excellence and People Operations.
  • Analyze people-related data and organizational health indicators to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Deliver core HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, time and attendance processes, HR documentation, and compliance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, company policies, and employee relations processes.
  • Support change management activities associated with organizational transformations, restructuring initiatives, and business growth.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing culture where equal treatment and fair employment practices are consistently upheld.

Your New Team

You will become part of Nilfisk's international HR community, working closely with manufacturing leaders, supervisors, HR colleagues, and specialist teams across the organization. While your primary focus will be the Nagykanizsa manufacturing site, you will collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent people practices and successful implementation of HR initiatives.

Qualifications to Succeed in the Position

To succeed in this role, you are a proactive HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

You bring:

  • HR partnering experience within manufacturing, industrial, or other operational environments.
  • Business acumen and the ability to influence and advise leaders at different organizational levels.
  • Expertise in supporting organizational change, workforce planning, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Confidence in analyzing HR and organizational data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Good knowledge of Hungarian labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • A service-oriented and collaborative approach combined with strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • A genuine commitment to fairness, inclusion, equal treatment, and respectful employee relations.
