Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Manager located in Dallas, TX.

Reporting to the Director of Operations the Manufacturing Engineer Manager Responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
  • Establish and improve process capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
  • Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Improve throughput in constrained areas.
  • Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
  • Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
  • Demonstrates functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
