Role Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who is driven, innovative, and detail-oriented to join our manufacturing operations team. This role will focus on improving manufacturing processes, designing production workflows, implementing lean principles, and supporting product quality to ensure that every ERock solution meets our high standards for performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborating with design engineering on new product introduction to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Analyzing production data and metrics to identify trends and drive problem-solving efforts.
  • Supporting troubleshooting of production issues, including mechanical, electrical, and control system challenges.
  • Coordinating with supply chain and quality teams to resolve material or component issues.
  • Leading projects to integrate new equipment, automation solutions, and tooling into production lines.
  • Training production staff on new processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering or process improvement experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and manufacturing process design tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable being on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot and support production.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing environments.
  • Are skilled in CAD, manufacturing process simulation, or PLC/control systems.
  • Bring proven lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization expertise.
  • Can quickly identify and resolve root cause issues.
  • Possess strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
