As a Manufacturing Engineer in Blaine, MN, you will work closely with operators and leadership to ensure that manufacturing processes are optimized for efficiency and scalable for continued growth with a strong focus on continuous process improvement. This is a great opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new facility as we continue to grow our Data Solutions manufacturing capabilities.

** This posting is for 1 Manufacturing Engineer position. Upon hire, onboarding and training will be held at our facility in Anoka, MN until the Blaine facility opens. When the new facility opens in early 2026, this role will work onsite, 5 days/week in Blaine, MN. **

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
  • Optimize manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes by collaborating with operators, team leaders, and value stream managers to enhance production layouts, streamline material flow, and improve line balancing.

  • Submit Capital Equipment requests for new equipment or technology and work with project team members and suppliers to ensure effective integration into production.

  • Apply lean principles to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction, resulting in enhanced safety, product quality, delivery, and reduced cost.

  • Work with New Product Development (NPD) team to analyze drawings and ensure the new product can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively. 

  • Lead projects from planning through execution, managing resources, costs, benefits, and schedules; ensure goals are met, communicate status to stakeholders, and sustain results.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related degree.

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with one or more of the following systems: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP (JD Edwards preferred), PLM (Enovia preferred).

  • Experience working with Automation Equipment preferred.

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
