Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Tijuana.

Reporting to the Manager Engineering the Manufacturing Engineer’s role involves:This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes by providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Experience in Medical Industry

  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes within schedule and budget parameters.

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and workflows.

  • Define equipment maintenance requirements and troubleshoot equipment failures.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Participate in PFMEA and control plan development for new products.

  • Write and update work instructions, specifications, and procedures.

  • Analyze and design equipment layouts and workspace for maximum efficiency.

  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure effective tooling and product design.

  • Respond to customer requests regarding product specifications and design changes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Advanced English

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree/ Industrial Engineer

  • Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.

  • Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.

  • Responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.

  • Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.

  • Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities.

  • Approves product, process and equipment qualifications.
