Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Jamestown Engine Plant. In this role, you will support the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of manufacturing equipment, processes, and production system improvements that drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and CAD/CAM tools, along with the ability to analyze manufacturing processes, interpret engineering drawings, and contribute to data-driven process improvements.
This position is well suited for a collaborative problem solver who can work effectively across cross-functional teams while supporting projects related to machining, fixturing, workstation design, ergonomics, and manufacturing equipment optimization. Experience with CNC metal-cutting or metal-processing equipment is highly valued, as is the ability to document standardized processes, evaluate manufacturing solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance performance and reduce waste.
