Job Summary
Carnegie Robotics is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the
development, launch, and continuous improvement of advanced electromechanical products. This
individual will play a key role in driving manufacturing readiness, supporting new product
introduction (NPI), and ensuring high-quality production processes across complex robotic systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives
- Investigate and resolve quality issues
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies
- Interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives
What You’ll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5–10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience with electronics manufacturing and assembly
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
How You’ll Stand Out
- You have experience with embedded Linux systems, microcontrollers, or industrial sensor integration
- Experience with PCB assemblies, cable/harness builds
- Background with electromechanical products
- Exposure to robotics or complex systems manufacturing
- You have work experience in robotics, automation, or low-volume high-mix manufacturing environments
