Main Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Engineer for Tractors assembly process ( Serie 5000, 6000 and HVC)
- Manufacturing Module Owner for Tractor Assembly (Engine, Drivetrain, Operator Station, Chassis, Assembly Line, Tier 2 Ops)
- Design, Develop and Implement Manufacturing Process for Current and New Tractors (OFP & EPDP)
- Working with BIT Strategy (Business Improvement Team) to Achieve Operational Goals in Safety, Quality, Deliveries and Efficiency
- Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs.
- Provides support and troubleshooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data and implement solutions.
- Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of moderate scope. Designs operations layouts. Improves material flow and material presentation.

- Tractor Functionality Background
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.)
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
- Enterprise Product Delivery Process Knowledge (EPDP).
- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities.
- Working knowledge of database management tools, the various loan accounting systems, and process management systems.
- Knowledge of capital budgeting and capital equipment justification process.
Education
- Bachelor's degree on Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
