Position Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer specialized in machining, assembly, and welding, with strong experience in Core Tools, blueprint interpretation, and design tools. This role is key to driving process improvements, supporting production lines, leading new product launches, coordinating PPAP activities, and ensuring stable, efficient, and well‑documented manufacturing processes.
You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to analyze processes, validate changes, optimize parameters, and maintain technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities related to machining, assembly, and welding.
- Review and update process instructions, routing sheets, and technical documentation.
- Conduct feasibility analyses and manage engineering change follow‑up.
- Provide technical support to production and resolve process-related issues.
- Lead new product introductions and process changes.
- Develop and document process parameters, flow diagrams, AMEF, control plans, and PPAP deliverables.
- Execute audits (5S, safety, process audits, polyvalence).
- Drive continuous improvement actions focused on efficiency, scrap reduction, cost optimization, and process capability.
- Create and update technical documentation: AMEFs, FEA, flow diagrams, control plans, visual work instructions, tool layouts, tooling documentation, etc.
- Track manufacturing KPIs and ensure alignment with production targets.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of automotive industry experience.
- 2 years of machining experience.
- Strong proficiency in Core Tools (AMEF, VDA, SPC, MSA) – minimum 3 years.
- Project management experience in APQP & PPAP (3 years).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering (required).
Intermediate English (conversational).
