The Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment.
Conduct process capability studies and implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and control plans.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Evaluate and select new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Provide technical support and training to production personnel.
Participate in facility layout and capacity planning.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-volume production environment.
Proven experience with process optimization, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
