Job Responsibilities Include:
Evaluating manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement; determining resolutions and implementing improvements.
Innovating, researching and developing new processes, equipment use, and products.
Creating test protocols, parts, and fixtures; establishing testing procedures and requirements for optical characterizations; specifying and qualifying optical components.
Supporting analysis of collected data; collecting, processing, and analyzing camera images and 3D depth data; preparing detailed reports.
Writing procedures for operations and equipment use.
Developing and benchmarking system performance models.
Following detailed instructions and procedures; prioritizing assignments; working independently and completing assignments on time; staying organized and making decisions within assigned responsibilities; working as a team member.
Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Performing other duties at the Departmental Manager’s discretion.
SAFETY:
Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to Micro-LAM Company Policies.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, etc.:
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to management and/or safety Committee Members immediately.
Special Safety Instructions – When operating the Machine, the Operator MUST wear safety Glasses.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting (50lbs), carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching required for this job description.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Manufacturing, Test Equipment & Quality Systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
High level of technical expertise.
Collaborate well with others.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience.
Manufacturing experience and/or training desired.
