PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Develop and manage small to medium size projects and the reporting there of at the direction of the Department Supervisor.
- Prepare budgets and timelines and assemble meetings on projects assigned.
- Make recommendation on capital budget projects and research projects.
- Formulate corrective action reports base on testing and research, recommend design and / or process changes and implement design or process changes as approved.
- Research new processes, operations and manufacturing equipment at the direction of the department manager.
- Develop, set-up and test new equipment and processes as deemed appropriate.
- Use computer and necessary software to write reports. Develop spreadsheet, chart table, graphs to support reports written.
- Maintain contact and working relations with outside suppliers on projects as assigned.
- Help train and instruct Associate Engineers, Manufacturing Specialists and Technicians as directed by the Department Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties related in nature which may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree in the applied technical area.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.
