Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals including design principles, materials, and fabrication methods
• Proficient with CAD, Creo/Solidworks.
• Strong understanding of optomechanical assemblies, alignment processes and tolerance control to meet required degrees of freedom (DOF)
• Strong Understanding of the controls systems and sensors and Pneumatics involved in Electro Mechanical stage
• Good understanding of vibration, stiffness, thermal effects
• Experience in semiconductor equipment industry /manufacturing is preferred
• Team player with good writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues. Set-up experiments, and perform Data analysis/root cause analysis
• Ability to read and understand Mechanical drawings and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments to diagnose system issue.
• Good Understanding of the GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis/ error budgeting
• Expected to travel up to 25% of the time
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master's Level degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering with at least 5-6 years of experience, or Doctorate in mechanical engineering with at least 4 years of experience.
