The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation and Quality, builds our leading-edge technology. GOPS partners with KLA's global supply base and design engineering teams to develop new products, working continuously to build better, faster and more cost-efficient solutions.What You'll Do
In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
- Technical Problem Solving: Independently diagnose and resolve complex system-interaction issues on advanced SEM instruments.
- Data & Modeling: Analyze data and build models to optimize processes, improve specifications, and upgrade designs.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Deliver critical manufacturing requirements directly to design engineers to improve production efficiency.
- Process Development: Create, execute, and maintain testing and troubleshooting procedures for complex systems.
- Project Management: Build and lead cross-disciplinary project plans from inception to completion.
- Global Field Support: Provide "fly-and-fix" support for critical field and supplier escalations. (up to 25% travel).
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2+ years in systems engineering or a related field. Entry-level Master’s candidates with strong matching skills are highly encouraged to apply.
- Analytical Skills: Expert troubleshooting, experimental setup, modeling, and data analysis capabilities.
- Communication: Ability to champion technical solutions to design teams and deliver high-level presentations to divisional leadership.
- Preferred Knowledge: Hands-on experience with vacuum systems, electron optics, and high-voltage systems is a major plus.
