Position Summary

Performs duties to assemble and test the various models in a safe manner in accordance with quality requirements.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and perform work in a safe manner.
  • Execute assembly operations by attaching components in the specified sequence.
  • Precisely align, fit, and secure components using manual operations and appropriate fastening techniques at the workbench.
  • Ensure that all component parts used are correct for the specific product being assembled.
  • Conduct all required quality checks on component parts and finished assemblies at the workstation.
  • Sort and rework components on the assembly line or in other designated areas to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage material flow by moving parts from storage locations (e.g., containers on the floor) to the containers in the immediate work area.
  • Rotate through all assigned assembly stations as required by the company.
  • Provide assistance to all other operators on the line.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, complying with all safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

Functional Experience

  • Entry level experience as Assembly Operator is preferred
  • Use hand tools, staple gun, hand pallet jack, wrapping machine, scale, computer and printer.

Phyiscal Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Factory Environment: Exposed to manufacturing noise, moving equipment, parts, and a risk of electrical shock. Carelessness around equipment could result in serious injury.
  • Office Environment: Routine exposure to noise from computer peripherals (e.g., printers, disk drives).
  • Physical Requirements: Requires standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or GED
