Position Summary
Performs duties to assemble and test the various models in a safe manner in accordance with quality requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety regulations and perform work in a safe manner.
- Execute assembly operations by attaching components in the specified sequence.
- Precisely align, fit, and secure components using manual operations and appropriate fastening techniques at the workbench.
- Ensure that all component parts used are correct for the specific product being assembled.
- Conduct all required quality checks on component parts and finished assemblies at the workstation.
- Sort and rework components on the assembly line or in other designated areas to maintain quality standards.
- Manage material flow by moving parts from storage locations (e.g., containers on the floor) to the containers in the immediate work area.
- Rotate through all assigned assembly stations as required by the company.
- Provide assistance to all other operators on the line.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, complying with all safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Functional Experience
- Entry level experience as Assembly Operator is preferred
- Use hand tools, staple gun, hand pallet jack, wrapping machine, scale, computer and printer.

Phyiscal Requirements / Working Conditions
- Factory Environment: Exposed to manufacturing noise, moving equipment, parts, and a risk of electrical shock. Carelessness around equipment could result in serious injury.
- Office Environment: Routine exposure to noise from computer peripherals (e.g., printers, disk drives).
- Physical Requirements: Requires standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
