The Manufacturing Analytics Specialist develops, analyzes, maintains, and improves reporting and data solutions that support manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role partners with operational teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable data insights while ensuring data integrity across business systems. The Manufacturing Data Analyst II independently manages complex reporting needs, supports process improvement initiatives, and translates data into meaningful information that supports operational decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of ERP, TMS, SQL, inventory management, or warehousing systems required.
  • Experience with Python, Databricks, Oracle, IFS, SAP, Autodesk Vault or equivalent engineering document management systems preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Ability to validate, analyze, and troubleshoot data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement within complex datasets.
  • Ability to communicate technical information and analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, operational reporting, or KPI measurement initiatives preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and key performance metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams and internal customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to support manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with manufacturing leadership and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver accurate, actionable insights.
  • Monitor and validate existing reports to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency as business processes and data structures evolve.
  • Support forecasting, capacity planning, KPI tracking, and operational performance reporting initiatives.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in improving data collection methods, reporting efficiency, and data accessibility across the organization.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, user-friendly reports and presentations that support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement projects and operational initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and reporting processes.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to less experienced analysts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is hybrid.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.  
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones (Central/Eastern/Mountain/Pacific), if necessary.
  • Be flexible for after-hours tasks, as needed.
