Reporting to the Director of Supply Planning you'll provide strategic direction and planning regarding the management of finished goods, (FG) and non finished goods (NFG) inventories at manufacturing facilities, copackers and distribution centers. You'll lead of a portion of our dry portfolio and associated supply planning, replenishment planning, material planning and PPD teams. Direct the production master planning function for long-term scheduling, inventory planning, capacity planning and all deployment activities. Help guide plant and IMC sourcing to deliver lowest total delivered cost. Achieve inventory, service and other S&OP metric improvement. Support innovation projects as needed.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop a manufacturing and distribution strategy to support achieving target customer service levels and customer service levels with a minimum investment in inventories.
  • Guide the development and maintenance of ongoing network supply and capacity planning. Lead medium sized team, consisting of Supply and Replenishment planners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the positioning and maintenance of finished goods inventories, in such a way to balance customer fill rate, inventory carrying costs and transportation. Establish guidelines to achieve cost-efficient movement of finished goods while maintaining minimum inventory investment.
  • Anticipate and communicate current and potential problems and opportunities to Senior Management, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service so they can make appropriate decisions. Work with Line of Business Team to resolve problems.
  • Monitor FG and NFG inventory and manage aged stock, SKU rationalized inventory, and restricted stock (hold, damage, etc.) to maximize sales revenue and minimize P&L impact.
  • Plan and communicate with Transportation & Warehousing on annual and periodic freight and warehousing flow changes.
  • Responsible for the production planning process through the coordination of sourcing, production plan and deployment/flow plans for assigned businesses and plants to support our Integrated Business Planning process
  • S&OP contact for dry Network Optimization projects and due diligence

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, logistics, or supply chain
  • 7+ years' experience in a supply chain environment
  • 2+ years team lead experience
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions)
  • PowerPoint – Comfortable making weekly presentations providing status updates
  • Experience with Blue Yonder or other Warehouse Management Systems. Blue Yonder training will be provided.
  • Power BI – Experience navigating and providing guidance to the data management team
  • Travel up to 5% annually
  • In Office 3 days a week, Tuesday - Thursday

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
