Role Overview:
The Managing Editor will be responsible for the overall editorial process, leading a team of writers and editors to ensure timely, high-quality content delivery. You will define editorial workflows, uphold content standards, and collaborate closely with other departments to align editorial strategy with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the editorial team, overseeing content creation, editing, and publication.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and voice across all content.
- Develop and implement editorial workflows to streamline content production.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and other teams to align content with business objectives.
- Supervise the editorial calendar, ensuring content is delivered on schedule.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to writers, editors, and content creators.
- Analyze content performance and refine editorial strategies to improve impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of editorial experience, with experience in a leadership or management role.
- Proven ability to manage editorial workflows and teams effectively.
- Expertise in content editing, with strong knowledge of grammar, style, and SEO best practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in HR, SaaS, or global employment is a plus.
