The Managing Director, Wealth Operations and Innovation is responsible for overseeing all operational, reporting, and client service activities within United Community Wealth. This role is a key member of the Wealth executive leadership team and will serves as strategic leader for enhancing the advisor and client experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth management operations, product, compliance, and client service.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and optimize day-to-day operational activities within the wealth management division.
- Implement and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of financial transactions and account management processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement compliance procedures and policies to mitigate operational risks.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure that the operations team is informed and compliant.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to streamline operational processes and enhance client services.
- Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to integrate and optimize wealth management systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations and client service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with client services teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
- Implement measures to enhance the overall client experience.
- Generate and analyze operational reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or equivalent industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Deep experience with risk identification and development of risk mitigation procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, and project management.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Trust Accounting Systems – FIS or SEI

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position manages operations and client service employees and is responsible for the coaching, development, and performance management of those employees.

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

This position requires up to 25% travel.
