Operational responsibility for the continuous monitoring and management of activities within LGT Investment Management GmbH, in particular in the management of funds (UCITS/AIF).
- Collaboration and coordination on regulatory issues, e.g. FMA enquiries, audits and communication with internal and external audit bodies (custodian banks, auditors, IT service providers).
- Assumption of organizational and administrative tasks, including documentation, presentations, correspondence and maintenance of regulatory reporting.
- Active participation in the interface function to internal teams of experts (risk, outsourcing, compliance, finance & reporting).
- Participation and preparation in management and technical committees, as well as support with financial statements and regulatory audits.
- Planning and organization of relevant meetings incl. agenda management
- Proactive participation in strategic projects within the framework of the company, especially on topics such as digitalization, data quality and process optimization.
- Responsibility for maintaining an effective internal control system (ICS), including monitoring of outsourced services and incident escalation.
- Independent and precise handling of the day-to-day business of an investment company, including support in the maintenance of reporting and documentation systems.
Completed university studies in the fields of finance, economics, law or an equivalent qualification; a postgraduate degree (CFA, CAIA, FRM, EMBA/MBA) is an advantage.
- Several years of professional experience (>5 years) in a management position in a regulated financial institution, in the field of operations, risk management, compliance or portfolio management.
- Sound knowledge of Austrian and European regulations (InvFG, AIFMG, WAG 2018, WPFirmG, MiFIR, PRIIPs-VO, SFDR, TAX-VO etc.) as well as experience with FMA processes and regulatory reviews.
- Ideally, experience in dealing with portfolio management systems (e.g. Avaloq, SimCorp, or similar) and reporting systems (Aravo, Abacus Reg, Axxsys).
- Strong empathy, communication skills and discretion when working with sensitive data and regulation.
- Goal-oriented, structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high level of quality awareness and a "can-do" mentality, even under stress.
- Very good written and spoken German and English (C1+), especially for the preparation of regulatory correspondence and internal reports.
- Meet the Fit & Proper criteria for managing directors in the investment firm sector
- Your residence and physical presence is in Austria (Vienna)
- Proactive cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and active participation in the further development of processes and standards within LGT Investment Management GmbH.
In addition to an extremely interesting field of activity and our social benefits, we offer you a minimum salary - based on the above-mentioned minimum requirements - for the position from € 110.000,- per annum (depending on qualifications), a performance-related target bonus and a company car.
