Sustainability: Commercial success creates freedom to keep innovating.

We build a financially healthy business that fuels artistic ambition, community investment, and long-term growth.

Impact: Use our stage to strengthen artists, audiences, and community.

The Managing Director will serve as the senior administrative and strategic leader for the venue, overseeing day-to-day operations, revenue management, administrative functions, and serving as the primary contact for business operations.

The Managing Director will bring the vision for the theater to life: re-establishing the Curran as the most desired stage in San Francisco, where legacy inspires innovation and live entertainment moves our community forward. The Managing Director will work in close coordination with Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG)—who will continue booking Broadway content and supporting key operations. This role will be a dynamic, community minded ambassador who brings strong communication skills, sound financial judgment, creativity and collaborative leadership to operations, programming, and community relations.
