Job DescriptionWe are currently looking to fill a key role in our General TradeDesk Department. In this dynamic position, you will be primarily responsible for leading a team of import and export professionals in exceeding our clients’ expectations. The primary focus will be on the below tasks.
- Supervise, support, and ensure compliance with Tradewin/Client SOPs and regulatory standards
- Ensure we are meeting client’s expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain effective staffing, including participation in hiring activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Monitor metrics and reporting, develop solutions to ensure compliance
- Drive process efficiency and improvement
- Develop, train, mentor and conduct employee performance reviews and personnel development plans
- Proactively promote the company’s 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary.
- Actively develop business for department through active involvement in sales and retention process and close coordination with Senior Manager, Director or Principal
Work closely with the Senior Manager and support where needed
- 10+ years of Import Brokerage/Compliance Experience
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of the HTS Classification
- Licensed Customs Broker
- Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
- Superior organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong emotional resilience and positive solution focused mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
