Managing Consultant, Services Account Management, Acquiring & Processing
Mastercard Services, the professional services arm of Mastercard, provides payments-focused consulting services to financial institutions and merchants worldwide. Within Services, the Acquiring & Processing practice helps financial institutions, processors, fintechs, merchants, and other ecosystem participants navigate the evolving payments landscape and unlock growth opportunities.
We are seeking a Managing Consultant, Services Account Management, to support the regional teams driving the growth of Mastercard's Acquiring & Processing business across Asia Pacific. This role combines subject matter support, client engagement support, and industry expertise to help identify opportunities, support the shaping of client solutions, and support the commercialization of Mastercard Services capabilities led by authorized regional teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of acquiring, processing, acceptance, payment infrastructure, and merchant ecosystems, coupled with the ability to translate client challenges into actionable growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in acquiring, payment acceptance, processing, merchant acquiring, and payment infrastructure trends.
Support the Regional Services Business Development teams and Account Management teams to identify, qualify, and advance acquiring & processing opportunities.
Support the development of client growth plans, business cases, and solution recommendations that address key client priorities.
Engage with clients to understand business challenges, document opportunities, and articulate the value of Mastercard Services capabilities, with the direction of the regional team.
Support in preparing proposal content, commercial inputs, and client presentations for the regional team.
Support the development of trusted working relationships with client stakeholders across acquiring banks, processors, fintechs, merchants, and payment ecosystem participants.
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including Consulting, Product, Customer Solutions Center, and regional market teams to support integrated solutions for clients.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies impacting the acquiring and processing landscape.
Support pipeline tracking, opportunity documentation, and reporting accuracy for the regional Services team.
Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing activities within the Acquiring & Processing practice.
Experience
6-10 years of experience in acquiring, payment processing, merchant payments, acceptance, fintech, payments consulting, or related financial services fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of merchant acquiring, payment processing, acceptance ecosystems, payment gateways, processor economics, or related areas.
Prior experience supporting account management, solutioning, consulting, product management, or partnership coordination.
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
Ability to translate complex industry concepts into clear business value propositions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities.
Proven ability to work effectively across matrixed teams in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Professional level English language capability required.
