In line with our business expansion, we would like to invite qualified and candidates to fill the following position at FGV Holdings BerhadJob Description
• Reviewing and drafting various types of contracts and other legal documentation for the Group;
• Managing, negotiating contracts with internal and external parties and finalising agreements for execution;
• Highlight legal risks effectively via the established governance process;
• Providing legal counsel, advice and guidance to the Group (on general or specific areas of law);
• Identifying and escalating legal, regulatory and compliance issues within the Group;
• Developing legal policies on contract process and ensuring compliance with the legal policies & procedures for the Group;
• Reviewing and updating standard legal templates as and when necessary;
• Direct interface with the business and technical team on legal issues and strategies;
• Develop and manage legal policies and procedures and ensure compliance on the same;
• Supporting and assisting the superiors in all areas of work; and
• Projects and assignments as and when assigned by the Chief Counsel.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Laws and related field; and
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a legal environment.
• Experience in-house legal counsel or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Preferably Legal Practice certified or any certifications from other professional bodies; and
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
