Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and management for the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Facilities Manager is charged with the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. An emphasis of this role is placed on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives. This position coordinates the activities, financials, vendors and manpower required for current and future needs of the building and operations.

Job Description

  • Manage and collaborate with Client (Users) to ensure daily operation are not disrupted and expectations are met by performing the essential Facilities Management Services captured in the Contract.
  • Facilitate and ensuring the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Facilities Management Services are conducted in accordance to the contract including the preparation of the annual shutdown.
  • Facilitate and ensuring that the licences of various equipment (lift, air compressors, overhead crane, scissor lift, pollock step lift) are renewed in accordance to the contract and regulations.
  • Manage and ensure the Term-contractors (Building, Cleaning, and Pest Control) provide services that meet the client expectations / KPI.
  • Evaluate quotations submitted by term-contractors.
  • Facilitate and assist auditors to carry out safety audit and ensure the observations are follow up to upkeep the services at the site.
  • Assist client to carry out check on the inventory of the First Aid boxes and IPP (In-Place Protection) cabinets.
  • Collate all service reports from term contractors and submit monthly report to client.
  • Consumables procurement and basic Procurement work (issuing of Purchase Orders and closing of Order after work is completed or delivered)
