Work Flexibility: Onsite
The Manager, Workplace Operations (Onsite) will lead all facility services at our San Jose, CA site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Operations. This role is key to maintaining a safe, sustainable, and high-performing workplace. You'll manage building operations, support energy and space planning strategies, and help shape our approach to amenities and equipment. Success in this role means enhancing the employee experience, driving operational efficiency, and supporting scalable growth through strong collaboration with Workplace and Real Estate & Facilities (RE&F) teams.

Lead day-to-day facilities operations including building infrastructure, maintenance, space planning, and workplace amenities to ensure a smooth and efficient environment.

Ensure full compliance with local regulations and company standards while delivering high-quality Workplace Operations services that support business goals.

Manage and develop a high-performing onsite facilities team, including maintenance experts, reception staff, and third-party providers.

Oversee capital project planning, including the creation and approval of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) with input from technical teams.

Partner cross-functionally with Real Estate & Facilities (RE&F), IT, Security, HR, EHS, Legal, and Finance to deliver cohesive workplace solutions.

Drive process improvements and space optimization, supporting occupancy planning, sustainability goals, and long-term operational strategies.

Build strong vendor and cross functional relationships, ensuring service excellence and full compliance with lease terms and operational agreements.

Support onsite meetings and events, coordinating logistics, vendors, and facilities needs to create seamless experiences for employees and guests.
What you need
Required:

Bachelor's degree or 6 years of equivalent experience will be considered
-
5 years of work experience in facilities management, electrical and mechanical systems, health, safety and environmental regulations, construction, maintenance, and project management

3 years of experience in direct or indirect people management
Preferred:

Financial acumen related to budget management

Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and CMMS work order software

Project management, MS Office Suite and knowledge of FM planning systems/approach

Experience in reading building drawings and CAD documents
$100,500 - 215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 20%
