CSCS TXPOSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Manager, Workday Financial Systems to lead the technology portfolio supporting Workday Financial Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Adaptive Planning, Inventory, Expenses, Prism, Projects, and related Procurement capabilities. This role will directly manage the team of Sr. Technology Analysts, Workday Finance, and provide leadership, guidance, prioritization, and quality oversight for functional configuration, business process design, reporting, testing, documentation, production support, and continuous improvement across the Workday Finance landscape.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, optimization, and support of Caliber's Workday Financials and Supply Chain solutions. You will lead a team of analysts and partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Security, Integrations, Data & Analytics, and business leadership to deliver scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support business growth.
The ideal candidate brings deep Workday Financials and Supply Chain experience, strong people leadership, enterprise application management expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
This role is accountable for people leadership, delivery execution, operational support, platform health, and continuous improvement across the Workday Finance technology landscape. The position is responsible for ensuring solutions are appropriately designed, configured, tested, documented, supported, and maintained in alignment with approved business priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
You will lead the strategy, delivery, and operational support of Workday Financials and Supply Chain capabilities across Caliber. Key responsibilities include:
Team & Delivery Leadership
- Own and manage team capacity for Workday Financial Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, CLM, Inventory, Expenses, Projects, and related capabilities. Plan execution, allocate resources, oversee operational delivery and production support, and coordinate platform administration for approved business priorities.
- Support established governance, intake, and prioritization processes by providing effort estimates, technical recommendations, risk assessments, capacity plans, and delivery timelines for enhancements and projects. Follow approved change-management processes for incidents, releases, and configuration changes.
- Provide leadership and day-to-day direction to the team of Sr. Technology Analysts, Workday Finance, ensuring work is prioritized, designed, documented, tested, and delivered in alignment with business value and IT standards.
Solution Delivery & Quality
- Review and approve Workday functional designs, business process configuration, calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, security impacts, and related solution documentation.
- Oversee issue triage, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and post-production stabilization for Workday Financials and related modules.
- Ensure solutions are appropriately designed, configured, tested, documented, supported, and maintainable within the Workday platform and surrounding applications.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Partner with Workday, AMS providers, implementation partners, and internal technical teams to resolve production issues, evaluate new features, and support execution of the approved technology roadmap.
- Provide operational and technical input into roadmap planning while ensuring organizational capacity, supportability, and delivery readiness.
We are looking for a collaborative leader who can balance strategic roadmap ownership with hands-on Workday expertise and strong operational discipline.

- Proven experience supporting Workday Financials, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Adaptive Planning, Prism, Supply Chain, or related ERP platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management configuration and business processes.
- Experience leading Workday implementations, enhancements, releases, upgrades, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and functional topics into clear business language.
- Ability to guide senior analysts in business requirements analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience supporting Workday Financials, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, CLM, Supply Chain, or related ERP platforms.
- 3+ years of experience managing Workday analysts, administrators, product teams, or enterprise application support teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management configuration and business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate Workday Financial Management configurations and solution designs for scalability, control effectiveness, supportability, and alignment with business requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across project delivery, production support, releases, and strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing or mentoring Workday Finance functional analysts responsible for business process configuration, custom reporting, calculated fields, dashboards, testing, production support, and enhancement delivery.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Workday certifications in Financial Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory, Projects, or related disciplines (preferred).
- Experience supporting large, multi-location, multi-entity, or rapidly growing enterprise organizations.
- Experience with Workday Strategic Sourcing.
- Experience leading ERP modernization, business transformation, acquisition integration, or system replacement initiatives.
- Experience operating within a Workday Center of Excellence or Product Operating Model.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, financial audit requirements, segregation of duties, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
- Experience with Workday integrations, EIBs, APIs, reporting, data management, Agile delivery, AMS partners, or operational dashboards.
- Experience with Workday feature releases, regression testing, UAT coordination, defect tracking, release readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
