About THE ROLE

The PVH finance team is instrumental to the success of the PVH Region North business. Acting as true business partners the team are responsible for providing accurate, timely and reliable information which supports and shapes our strategic direction.

Reporting to the VP Finance & Operations, Region North, this combined operational and strategic role will primarily lead the forecasting and budgeting processes for the region and act as second in command to the VP, Finance. This role will also be responsible for combining financial and market data to create better insight into business performance and its potential opportunities, challenging the commercial teams to achieve or exceed targets using a data driven approach. Key successes in this role would include high forecast accuracy, cross functional collaboration in planning cycles and timely delivery of budgets and forecasts.

The role will also lead the financial management processes including all weekly, monthly and quarterly results review, reporting and analyses for the Region North business and have ownership of financial reviews with the RN Leadership Team on an ad hoc basis. 

In addition, this role will support the VP and MD of the region with various ad hoc analysis and business case preparation.

The role will have one direct report.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the planning and forecasting for the region, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial plans for the regoin
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support effective decision-making within the finance close cycles (ie consolidation and preparation of management packs)
  • Drive the implementation of financial planning and budgeting processes for the business in line with HQ directions, working closely with cross-functional teams to align financial targets with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the finance leadership team to drive financial performance and accountability for the business, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business opportunities, assess profitability, and support decision-making on market expansion and customer segmentation.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial and operational metrics and KPIs to measure and track performance, and monitor progress against targets including risks and opportunities, trend analysis and sensitivity analysis
  • Provide guidance and support to the commercial finance team.

About YOU

  • You’ll have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • You’ll have previous experience in financial management and controlling, preferably within the wholesale or retail industry.
  • You’ll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability Make Informed Decisions by translating complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • You’ll Take Ownership, having excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • You’ll be proficient in financial management systems and tools, such as SAP MS Excel.
  • You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to Inspire Trust and effectively communicate financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • You’ll have a proven track record in driving financial performance, cost optimization, and process improvement.
  • You’ll Act with Purpose, having the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment that requires you to Adapt Fast
  • You’ll be fluent in English, both written and verbal. Additional languages are a plus.
