Job Description
Experience
- 5 years of experience in project planning and management
- 5 years of experience in management of staff and budget
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience in wellness
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Behavioral Science, Nutrition, Exercise and Health Science, or related field
Certification Summary
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Must have reliable personal automobile and auto insurance

- Proven ability to design and implement components/programs that drive large-scale change
- Must be able to partner with diverse organizations working toward a common goal
- Demonstrated strategic planning and management skills, including ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment, manage time and multiple assignments, meet frequent deadlines, shift priorities, and work independently and within teams
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including ability to collaborate with and influence individuals and groups at all levels of an internal or external organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Job Responsibilities
- Oversees program, serving as a member of the Wellness management team.
- Develops and manages department budget.
- Manages and reports about deliverables for grants and contracts.
- Manages staff, providing clear direction and maximizing individual strengths and career aspirations.
- Maintains knowledge of wellness-related research, market trends, and best practices.
- Develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates programs and projects that impact defined populations.
- Tracks and reports performance and participation data, and recommends opportunities for improvement.
- Maintains and builds relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, including community partners.
- Collaborates with Wellness Marketing to develop program brand and messaging.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including: interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
- Mentor team members to encourage personal and professional growth.
- Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.
