Job Title: Manager of WBW

Job Summary: The Manager of WBW will hire, train, and manage departmental associates (managers and staff) to provide excellent warehouse and logistics services to Wawa stores and wholesale customers in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner.
Principal Duties:- Establish controls and direct financial activities while managing daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate throughput.
- Develop and achieve overall standards for safety, quality, productivity, and customer and associate satisfaction.
- Ensure that all associates work in compliance with our Collective Bargaining Agreement and develop a cohesive, enriching and focused work environment.
- Plan for the immediate future. Develop the operating budget for the coming year. Provide feedback on long-term future direction.
- With all of the departments on the WBC campus, initiate and support change with the goal of achieving and maintaining a highly competitive cost per unit.
- Develop and implement change to align and support the WBC strategic plan.
- Achieve continuing quality assurance excellence while maintaining an efficient warehouse operation. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Wawa Beverage Company Senior Manager of Operations, working with other managers to ensure the overall effectiveness of the WBC operation.
- Work with Quality Assurance in maintaining expected level of good manufacturing practices.
- Provide safety leadership for associates and training for onsite vendors and onsite contractors.
- Mitigate finished product shrink within annual objectives and proactively identify improvement and savings opportunities.
- Prioritize best food safety practices by following all processes and procedures and report any food safety issues to the supervisor or manager
- Comply with all Wawa GMPs, policies and procedures.
- Provide overall direction and support for team and monitor and assess individual work in accordance with high standards of excellence. Provide feedback, coaching, support, opportunities for development, complete performance appraisals, take corrective action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Information Technology or related field, preferred
- 5+ years material handling operations management and/or automated warehouse experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Excellent knowledge of logistics automation, specifically integrated controls and software for warehouse material handling (ERP/MRP, MES, SAP)
- Experience with LEAN, SIX SIGMA, JIT, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
