Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative UX/UI Manager to lead the Xome design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience and interface design, with a proven track record of creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital products. As a UX/UI Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of designers and overseeing all aspects of the design process, from concept to final implementation for Xome’s product portfolio. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Design Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with our business goals and user needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback that inform design decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into our design processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve design work, ensuring that it meets our standards for usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience in conducting user research and testing. Experience with Userlytic solution a plus.
