Manager - US GAAP

 Manager - Technical Accounting

Job Description:

• 4 to 8 years of experience • Strong technical accounting / US GAAP skills • Preparation of financials statements • Build excellent internal and cross functional relationships across the organization • Maintain and update of internal accounting policies • Basic understanding on preparing SEC reporting documents (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support senior finance management with accounting policy development • Evaluate and present technical accounting matters and resolve queries • Deliver USGAAP training • Analyse, document and implement revised leasing and revenue recognition standards • Technical evaluation of accounting and proposed transactions across the organization under US GAAP • Assist with research and preparation of technical accounting memos • Collaborate with the general accounting team to prepare corporate financial reporting for internal analysis and external SEC filings • Analyse and document the impact of revised standards on internal accounting policies

 Certifications:

• CA • CPA preferred

Desired Characteristics:

• GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards • Drafting and designing accounting policies • Technical accounting research and advice • Financial statement close process support
