Arxada is looking for a Senior Manager Treasury Accounting based in Barcelona. The role will be the interface between Group Treasury and Group Accounting. The position holder will ensure proper accounting of loans, derivatives, bank balances and other treasury activities both intercompany and on a consolidated basis. She/he will also support the forecasting process as well as management of the Treasury Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee treasury activities with regards to correct accounting treatment
Deliver accounting support for month, quarter and year end closing
Manage regular treasury reporting including treasury specific notes in financial reports
Reconciliation of treasury related accounts (balance sheet and P&L) with external documentation
Reconciliation of intercompany debt
Ensure compliance with relevant controls and put accounting standards into practical impact
Prepared documentation for auditors
Drive automation and automation of processes
Preparation and record keeping of loan agreements
Support cash-forecasting activities
Act as system admin for the treasury management system, e-banking application and other treasury systems
Key Requirements:
Completed BSc in Business Administration, Finance or Economics
5-10 years of experience in Treasury
Business fluent in English - very good knowledge of German is a plus
Profound knowledge of accounting techniques incl. hedge accounting
Knowledge of financial derivatives and factoring
Experience with Treasury Management Systems
