The Manager, Strategy & Transformation will work closely with the Sr. Managers and Director, Transformation PMO to support high-impact operational initiatives across Goodwin. This role is ideal for a process-oriented business analyst or junior project manager who thrives in structured environments and enjoys bringing clarity, organization, and rigor to complex workstreams.
This role will focus on documenting, organizing, and supporting transformation efforts through strong process analysis, requirements gathering, and project coordination.
What You Will Do:
Document current- and future-state business processes using MS Visio, MIRO, and other tools, including workflows, handoffs, and requirements, to improve operational clarity and consistency.
Support planning and execution of initiatives through structured project management & coordination, including developing project plans, timelines, action trackers, and basic project management governance (meeting cadences, sponsor meetings, meeting minutes, status reporting, etc.).
Apply foundational project management and Agile & lean principles & techniques (e.g., backlog management, establishing a sprint cadence, facilitating stand-ups, and other agile rituals) to ensure work progresses efficiently and transparently.
Work with stakeholders and team members to gather and document business and functional requirements
Own and maintain team tooling and artifacts, including Monday.com boards, dashboards, and executive-ready PowerPoint status reports.
Track KPIs and business outcomes; synthesize updates into clear insights for leadership.
Contribute to the advancement of the Transformation PMO team by improving templates, tooling, processes, documentation standards, governance models, and overall execution discipline.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree required
3-6 years of Project Management, Business Process and Agile experience.
Business or professional services operations experience in a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with colleagues across functions and levels of the firm.
Demonstrated ability to support projects, including defining scope, developing timelines, maintaining documentation, preparing status reports, tracking risks, and ensuring follow-through on deliverables.
Working knowledge of foundational project management principles, including governance structures, milestone tracking, risk identification, and issue escalation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog tracking, stand-ups) and experience supporting iterative project environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to document processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements.
Ability to gather, organize, and synthesize complex information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Understanding of business process mapping and requirements documentation techniques.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and experience with project management or workflow tools (e.g., Monday.com or similar platforms).
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and contributing to the advancement of team processes, standards, and best practices.
