Schedule Details:

Our Sales Department operates 7 days per week. Hours of operation may vary based upon business needs.

 
Responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and define the annual strategic training plan for Sales with the objective to exceed the company’s objectives

  • Consult with on-site leadership team to regularly identify training needs and utilize current performance data in order to create just in time training solutions for site leaders and teams

  • Manage all training projects and training classrooms/space; responsible for creating project timeline, aligning resources, and meeting milestones and deadlines in a timely manner

  • Coach sales team members to improve their overall sales performance through one-on-one counseling, classroom modules, ride-alongs, and study materials

  • Facilitation of morning meetings for Sales Executives, TOs, and Managers to optimize sales efficiencies and exceed targeted net sales volume each quarter

  • Perform analysis to identify training needs and gaps and implement training initiatives

  • Develop and maintain training curriculum that is in line with business objectives and improves overall results for Sales Executives and Sales Leaders

  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and on-going development sessions for training staff and site management 

  • Deliver and ensure that New Hires are properly trained and understand Company culture and guidelines to aid in successful acclimation to Hilton Grand Vacation’s values, cultures, and performance goals

  • Communicate new product initiatives and policy or procedural changes that impact training programs or relevant material

  • Partner with Sales Management to attract and retain talent and create an environment that fosters a commitment to training and development of Team Members

  • Maintain all training materials including regular updates using Microsoft Suites including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms and Publisher (or similar applications)

  • Present curriculum with consideration to adult learning needs and industry norms to maximize comprehension and retention of materials and information

  • Seek feedback from on-site leadership regarding the effectiveness of training initiatives

  • Source and select appropriate learning solution vendors, as needed

  • Develop tools to benchmark and identify industry best practices and new developments in learning and employee and technological developments in learning management systems 

  • Utilize effective measurement tools (e.g. surveys, assessments, and performance metrics) to determine the effectiveness of training solutions, and present enhancement strategies to management

  • Create and manage the training budget to ensure cost efficiency and secure resources needed for training and development

  • Support training initiatives at other HGV sales galleries, including those on neighbor islands

  • Additional tasks as assigned by Management, as needed, to promote business objectives such as In House Sales Training and Development, and other new business growth initiatives like Virtual Sales, H.I.V.E., the Tour Guide Program, and regional initiatives.

  • Minimum of 2 years in Sales, working with Action and In-House lines and/or a training environment and 2 years of experience within a branded timeshare organization
  • Minimum 1 year of people management and/or experience leading a team as a Sales Leader / TO Sales Closer
  • Active Hawaii Real Estate License (ability to acquire)
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed
  • Strong relationship skills and the demonstrated ability to manage key partners across fields
  • Experience facilitating and collaborating with groups or teams within an organization
  • Experience training and/or coaching others to reach peak results
