Manager, Trading Technology

Vice President, Treasury and Capital

We are seeking a motivated Trading Technology Manager to join the BTH team. You will report to the Director of Treasury and Capital, supporting a variety of Treasury activities, with an emphasis on automating and enhancing trading and investment activities using technology. There will also be opportunities to work on independent projects such as researching investment opportunities or developing new tools and programs. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about the crypto space, eager to learn, and capable of self-teaching.

Responsibilities

• Enhance trading systems and investment strategies through research, analysis and automation.

• Monitor and maintain trading systems, responding to alerts and market events.

• Devise and analyze strategies incorporating CeFi and DeFi to efficiently deploy our balance sheet for greater returns.

• Identify and monitor investment opportunities across DeFi and CeFi.

• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on treasury activities and performance.

Experience

• 3+ years of work experience in a relevant field.

• Familiarity with crypto exchanges and trading systems.

• Experience with automation and scripting in financial contexts.

• Exposure to DeFi and CeFi protocols and strategies.

• Prior experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment is a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python3, SQL, Excel.

• Ability to use Crypto Exchange APIs, including REST and WebSocket.

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

• Understanding of Web3 and DeFi protocols, including liquidity pools, automated market making, Uniswap, etc.

• Ability to leverage AI tools for productivity enhancement, such as chatGPT.

Nice-to-haves

• Enthusiastic and curious about crypto; financially minded, with an ability to intuitively identify financial opportunities.

• Experience building automated bots or complex applications intended to run 24/7.

• Ability to use, read, and write smart contracts.

• Dashboard and data visualization skills, including in Excel, Streamlit, HTML, etc.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
