PURPOSE
Leads the Total Rewards practice for the organization including evaluating and evolving our total rewards strategies and programs and compliance with company policies and external regulations. Partners with key business partners in HR and across the organization to design and implement total reward programs that support business objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following statements describe the general nature of work performed by people assigned to this job and are not intended to be a complete list of all job duties.
- Manages and develops a team of co-workers with a diversity of skills and experience levels. Provides work direction and monitors overall productivity and work quality. Ensures staff is knowledgeable and cross-trained, encourages self-development, and promotes team participation.
- Direct all aspects of benefits administration and program development for health plans, retirement plans, time off programs, corporate wellness programs and other ancillary benefit programs. Works with CHRO to prepare program strategy recommendations for senior leadership.
- Works with outside consultants, actuaries, and attorneys regarding benefits strategy, plan design changes, legal interpretations, funding, valuations, and communications.
- Manages contract negotiation and renewals, oversight of vendors and plan fiduciary responsibility regarding administrative and operational issues. Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, particularly with ERISA, HIPAA, IRS and SOX requirements.
- Directs all aspects of compensation administration and incentive programs. Prepares analysis and recommendations to Senior Leadership.
- Provides support to HR Leadership regarding administration of executive compensation and assists with materials for the Management Development Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Analyzes business processes and issues. Identifies, establishes, and manages policies, procedures and standards to enhance efficiency and work quality.
- Develops solutions to problems with consideration for department and company goals and direction.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources, including progressive responsibility in people leadership
- Experience in designing, implementation and administration of total rewards programs
- Project management experience including the process from RFP to implementation
- Knowledge of employee benefits law and regulations
Pay Range:
$107,300.00 - $182,410.00
This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions. It is not typical to initiate pay at the top of the range to account for internal equity and allow for future and continued salary growth
