The Manager of Total Rewards and HRIS supports our global business and plays a multifaceted role including ownership of the compensation, benefits and incentives programs and processes for the business (including supporting strategic compensation activities) and the organization’s HR systems/technology platforms (HRIS) in addition to day-to-day responsibilities. This hands-on role requires a blend of critical thinking and practical execution to ensure that these programs and systems are competitive, cost-effective, compliant with regulations and are aligned with the Company’s strategic goals to effectively attract, retain, and engage top talent. The Manager will work closely with the HR team as well as senior leadership and cross-functional teams including finance/accounting to optimize total rewards and HR systems/technology, aligning to support employee attraction, retention and the overall employee value proposition through a comprehensive total rewards framework.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Total Rewards function, including compensation, benefits, incentives, recognition and HRIS resources, while also overseeing and collaborating with relevant service providers/vendors.
- Lead and actively drive the business alignment of the organization’s career framework in close collaboration with the HR leadership team.
- Own the annual compensation planning cycle, partnering with leadership to ensure accurate execution and alignment with market trends.
- Develop, manage, and execute incentive programs that drive performance and align with business objectives.
- Conduct job benchmarking using global survey data and market intelligence to maintain competitive compensation ranges, while also directly handling job evaluations.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage job classifications, salary scales, and HR system data, ensuring a hands-on approach to data integrity and accuracy.
- Conduct thorough job analyses to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with legal standards, while actively maintaining data integrity.
- Lead the ongoing optimization of HRIS (including the design and implementation of new solutions if needed), ensuring systems are effectively supporting HR operations, from data accuracy to reporting and compliance.
- Actively leverage HR systems for workforce analytics, compensation planning, benefits administration, and talent management, ensuring systems are utilized to their full potential.
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on all aspects of total rewards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current benefits offerings and implement changes to improve employee satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
- 6+ years of experience in compensation, benefits and HR technology/systems.
- Experience managing HR management systems, with a strong preference for experience with UKG; experience with HRSoft compensation management software is desirable.
- International compensation and benefits experience is preferred.
- CCP certification and SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification are preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Knowledge of compensation practices, employee benefits administration, and HR technology/systems management, with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on findings.
- Strong research skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
