The Manager of Test Vehicle Deployment leads a high-performing team responsible for prototype vehicle build, commissioning, software updates, and base-level instrumentation. The manager will also oversee IT systems reporting, KPI development, and augmented staffing support for PVE Vehicle Operations.

Position offers a starting salary range of $144,000.00 - $184,000.00 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience​

Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and implement a cohesive organizational structure for Prototype Vehicle Build, Commissioning, SW Updates, and Instrumentation teams.

  • Develop and execute a vision for streamlined operations and improved delivery performance.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement.

Operational Management

  • Oversee budgeting, planning, execution, and reporting for all prototype vehicle builds and instrumentation.

  • Manage vehicle commissioning and software update processes during and post-build.

  • Ensure resource allocation and asset management to support operational needs.

Process & Systems Optimization

  • Support process development and evolution of issue-tracking systems for vehicle operations.

  • Support development and deployment of KPI (Key Performance Indicators) through visualizations & dashboards, including Engineering Mission Control Board (MCB) for PVE Vehicle Operations

  • Support streamling of augmented staffing processes for PVE Vehicle Operations.

Performance Measurement

  • Establish metrics to track team performance, delivery timelines, and operational efficiency.

  • Drive accountability and transparency through data-driven reporting.

Knowledge You Should Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field, and 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • 2+ years proven leadership in working with teams and strong collaboration, ideally as a supervisor, lead, program manager or similar.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, software integration, and instrumentation.

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and report to leadership.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with office and plant environments, ability to adapt.

  • An attached resumed is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have 
  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience with KPI development and operational dashboards.

  • Experience with development of processes and deployment.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks.

  • Ability to manage complex projects under tight timelines.

  • Ability to oversee the daily operations of the physical facility.

  • Ability to obtain CDL (Commercial Driver License)
